INSTALLATION |
In Safari- If you download using Safari, the widget is installed automatically after you download it. Simply open your Dashboard and click the plus button at the bottom left corner of the screen. This opens the Widget dock, which contains all the widgets on your computer. Drag Package Tracker onto your screen out of the dock and you're ready. Other Browsers- If you don't use Safari, you have to install it manually, though that's not too hard either. Download the file, unzip it, and drag PackageTracker.wdgt to either /Library/Widgets or ~/Library/Widgets 2) Launch Package Tracker in Dashboard |
USAGE | When you start Package Tracker, you will see a list of the available carriers whose packages you can track. After selecting one, enter your tracking number in the search box and press return. When the tracking information is displayed, you can click on the current status line to go to the carrier's web site. Package Tracker will automatically update every time the Dashboard is shown. To go back to the carrier selection screen, move the mouse over the Package Tracker widget and click the arrow on the left side. |
